R. Sakthivel born on 13th May 1971 in Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District. Is a Promising self taught artist mastered in realistic art, Proficient in Painting Old Monuments, Historical Pictures, Realistic Pictures of Human and many more. He has great expertise is Water Colour, Acrylic and Pencil medium since 1998.
He has been the Layout Artist and Illustrator in Leading Tamil Daily News Paper. He has done Art Direction in Film Industry and Government Sector Exhibition at Chennai, Mumbai and Pragati Maidan New Delhi since 1995.
He has done stage and backdrop designs for Tamilnadu Govt. Film Award Function, Republic day celebration Tabelow in Chennai and New Delhi, designed the Andaman Cellular Jail set during the 50th Independence day, Celebration at Marina Beach, Chennai at 56’ and 250’ length.
His works in collection, Vintage India, Vintage Tamil Nadu, Vintage Maharastra, Old Bombay, Old Madras, Old Hyderabad, Old London and Old Singapore in Water Colour.
