Rambali Prajapati
Rambali Prajapati, a recipient of the National Award, the President's Award, and the Senior Fellowship Award from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, was born into a humble potter family in Mau district, Uttar Pradesh. His artistic journey began in childhood, crafting clay idols and toys, which later evolved into a professional pursuit of painting and sculpture. He completed his BFA and MFA in Painting from Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, Varanasi, followed by a PhD in Art and Art Market from Chaudhary Charan Singh University.
His paintings revolve around profound themes such as Music, Human and Nature, and Udaan (Flight), reflecting harmony, aspiration, and the rhythm of life. As a sculptor, he has explored concepts like books, schools, and the “Life of Stairs”, blending symbolism with form.
