Paintings by Artist Rajendra Dixit
ABOUT ME
With over 30 years of painting experience, my artistic journey has been filled with challenges, but I’ve always approached them with a positive spirit. I hail from Nagewadi, a rural village in Sangli district. After completing my graduation, I enrolled at Dalvi's Art Institute in Kolhapur, but due to unforeseen difficulties, I was unable to complete the diploma. However, through years of practice and dedication, I discovered a deep passion for portrait painting. Over time, I also explored contemporary styles using oil and mixed media. My work often delves into themes of ancient Indian culture and spiritual mysticism. Notably, my portrait art has been recognized and appreciated by several esteemed universities and institutions.
