ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Have been born and brought up in Kolkata
but its been over two and half years since I have shifted to
Pune.
BORN:
20 th October, 1967, Kolkata.
EDUCATION:
Graduated with a degree of BA from Calcutta
University, Studied Fine Arts at College of Visual Arts, Kolkata.
Studied Photography at Photographic Association of India.
AREA OF WORK:
Have worked both in correspondence and
individually. Have participated in various workshops all around
the globe for example, 2007- workshop in Kurseong, 2009-
workshop in Srilanka, 2001- workshop in Assam, 2006- workshop
conducted by CPAA in Renaissance Hotel, Mumbai, 1998-
workshop in Chennai, and many more conducted here and
there. Have participated in various forums to tach children
about art and photography. Have conducted workshops
myself to spread the knowledge of art across the country.
Have travelled and explored the world to know more about
art and incorporate such interesting art elements in my
paintings as inspired by artists all around the globe.

CPAA ,MUMBAI.
MEDIUM OF WORK- Mostly oil on canvas with paintings
entitled “SONGS OF SILENCEâ€. Other mode of painting
mediums include acrylic on canvas.
OTHER ACTIVITIES:
I have participated in various art camps In
London, Germany and Srilanka . Have taught students of
various age groups over the years about art and
photogrpahy. Love to be An active participant of socila
workshops with a cause so is and active participant of the
CPAA foundation , Mumbai.
