Born in 1987, Deborati Seth completed her B.F.A (Painting) and M.F.A. (Painting) from Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan. As an artist, she is interested in the of analogue photography negative film. She works with the distortion of real objects and situations translating these image resources into her visual language. The artist draws inspiration from her surroundings and puts her every day experiences to use to define her visual composition.
