A post-graduate in printmaking from Kala Bhavana, Shantiniketan, West Bengal, Negi did his undergraduate (also in printmaking) from the Govt. College of Art, Chandigarh, India. Since 2009, he has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions. Some of the notable ones include: 1st International Print Biennale, Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi (2018),10th Triennial Mondiale De L’estampe Chamalières, France (2017), 3rd International Contemporary Engraving Biennial, Lasi (2019). 89th All India Fine Arts, and Crafts Society Exhibition, New Delhi (2016), Annual Art Exhibition, Govt. College of Art 2007-10. Negi has also won several awards and fellowships for his contribution to the field of printmaking in India. He currently lives and works in New Delhi.
