Brief on Present Work-

Currently I am focusing on a series of paintings of my favorite bird - The Flamingo. The Flamingo has always attracted me since childhood.

I believe it is one of the most elegant of the birds not just in appearance but also in mannerism.

These birds are all about poise. From the way they walk around to the way they take flight, Flamingos exude a certain class.

For the same reasons, painting them is always a joy. And with my experience of bird photography, I

have a lot of real Flamingo images to work upon.

Whenever I visit Bhigwan or Sewri where these birds are spotted, I capture the

surroundings with an intention of putting it on canvas. I would call myself an experimental

soul and have painted the background in a modern contemporary style this time.

Aiming for a fusion of a natural element and a contemporary setting, this has been one of my most ambitious undertakings so far.
