I am Vishal. I was born and brought up at Haflong, a hill station in Assam. I have been beaten up, screamed at and laughed at for nurturing this love affair. But, I never stopped. Experiences across all the places I have lived at have greatly influenced my understanding of an image and the power it holds. Each time I capture an image and the time stops for that shutter to let the light in, I feel the thrill of having escaped the binding of time.
