Work In Progress Acrylic Photorealistic Painting

This work stages the city as a layered palimpsest—roofline laborers poised above a shuttered façade while a solitary figure drifts through the lower frame, caught between visibility and erasure. The cool, weathered blues and greys carry the fatigue of built environments, yet the thin vertical red streams cut through like raw nerve endings, turning the everyday into a quiet alarm. Space is compressed into stacked bands of architecture and foliage, suggesting a society constructed in strata where effort accumulates overhead and life continues beneath, partially obscured. What emerges is a meditation on work and anonymity: the human presence persists, but the city’s surfaces—stains, grids, and drips—speak louder than any face.
