Description
Split between an earthen red field of tribal silhouettes and a saturated yellow ground of mythic portraiture, the work stages a dialogue between collective rhythm and intimate divinity. On the left, processions, carts, dances, and rituals unfold like a living manuscript—figures reduced to essential gestures, turning daily labor and celebration into a single pulse of community memory. On the right, a layered, folk-inflected deity tableau—child and guardian entwined—introduces tenderness and vigilance, its jewel-like colors and patterned textiles elevating domestic closeness into sacred presence. The compositional divide becomes a conceptual seam: the social world and the spiritual imagination mirror one another, suggesting that devotion is not separate from life but woven through it.
