Abstract, Ochre Palette, Gestural Texture, Atmospheric, Eroded Forms, Luminous Core, Memory And Absence

A vast field of burnished ochre and rust holds the eye in a suspended hush, as if the atmosphere itself has been thickened into pigment. From the lower register, a pale, ember-like emergence suggests a half-remembered figure or structure—part apparition, part ruin—its edges scraped and reworked until it feels both discovered and erased. The composition’s weight shifts between void and residue, turning warm light into a kind of archaeology where presence is measured by what has been rubbed away. In this tension, the work reads as a meditation on memory’s heat: how longing illuminates, and how time scours everything it touches.
