Description
A molten horizon of ochres and rusts holds a fractured, quasi-architectural form as if a settlement has been remembered rather than observed—its geometry splintered into shards of charcoal, white, and sudden fuchsia. The composition’s low, elongated mass presses against a vast atmospheric field, creating a tense dialogue between grounded materiality and an expansive, weathered sky. Scraped textures and bruised color transitions suggest erosion and endurance, while the thin seam of turquoise reads like a residual current—an insistence of life moving through ruin. In this suspended landscape, the work turns disintegration into lyric structure, proposing that collapse can also be a kind of rebuilding in the mind.
