Description
This slender, charred form rises like a torsioned column caught mid-metamorphosis, its ribbed skin recording the pressure of the hand and the slow insistence of heat. A hollowed crown opens into darkness, turning the sculpture into a vessel as much as a figure—an object that seems to breathe absence and hold memory. The restrained monochrome heightens the drama of light grazing the striations, suggesting endurance and vulnerability intertwined, as if growth and collapse share the same spiral. Poised between totem and remnant, it reads as a meditation on resilience: matter tested, scarred, and still standing.
