Description
In this restrained monochrome field, a solitary figure emerges like a fragile imprint—part presence, part diagram—held in tension by intersecting lines that read as both architectural scaffolding and psychic fracture. The laddered ovals to the left pulse like measured breaths or apertures in memory, their dark voids counterbalancing the figure’s pale outline and suggesting the weight of what cannot be spoken. Grainy textures and dashed boundaries imply a provisional enclosure, as if the self is being drafted, erased, and redrawn within shifting limits. The work becomes a meditation on containment and exposure, where identity is less portrayed than engineered under pressure.
