Description
A hushed monochrome field is built from scraped whites and ashen greys, where veils of paint are repeatedly laid down and unsettled, as if memory were being revised in real time. The composition’s faint grid and ghosted block forms suggest an architecture of absence—windows, ledgers, or sealed rooms—interrupted by sudden charcoal eruptions and ink-like splatters that puncture the surface with unresolved thoughts. Light here is not illumination but erosion: it bleaches, quiets, and distills, leaving the viewer to navigate the tensions between order and fracture, silence and residue. The work reads as a palimpsest of restraint, asking us to listen to what remains after meaning has been scraped back to its essential trace.
