Description
A tumble of bodies, half-drawn and half-dissolving into smoky washes, stages a suspended choreography where intimacy and rupture share the same breath. The composition’s centrifugal knot—limbs clenched, tongues exposed, fabrics patterned like domestic memory—reads as both embrace and struggle, as if the figures are caught between playacting and survival. Sparse negative space becomes a kind of silence around them, while the sudden red filament threads through the scene like a pulse or tether, insisting on connection even as identities blur into stain and outline. In this uneasy levitation, the work proposes the human group as a fragile organism: porous, interdependent, and perpetually on the verge of coming apart.
