Description
A triad of figures emerges from a scorched, rust-laden field, their pale bodies mapped with a rigid grid that reads like both architecture and confinement—memory compartmentalized into cells. The left pair leans inward with intimate, almost conspiratorial softness, while the central nude stands frontally, eyes heavy with resignation, turning the composition into a quiet tribunal of belonging and exposure. Veils of dripping pigment and stippled stains corrode the surface, as if time itself has seeped through the image, making tenderness and trauma indistinguishable in the same weathered skin of paint. The work holds a tension between closeness and isolation, suggesting how family, desire, or community can shelter and simultaneously brand the self.
