Description
This work stages a human profile as an artifact in mid-erasure, where warm flesh tones are repeatedly interrupted by a scaffolding of grids and typewritten fragments, as if identity were being indexed, archived, and overwritten. The composition presses the face against a dense, urban-like lattice—light blooms briefly across the cheek and brow, only to be swallowed again by sepia shadow and mechanical mark-making. In that friction between intimacy and documentation, the portrait becomes a meditation on memory under pressure: a self rendered not as a singular presence, but as a palimpsest of systems, records, and quiet vulnerability.
