This intricately etched “mountain” reads like a compressed atlas of human labor, where terraces, villages, bridges, and quarry-like strata stack into a single, precarious ecology. The monochrome linework turns light into a moral measure—each pebble and furrow rendered with patient insistence—suggesting that what we call landscape is in fact an accumulation of choices.
