Description
Suspended in a velvety wash of greys, the lantern-like structure rises as a quiet monument to containment and release, its faceted geometry rendered with meticulous linework that feels both architectural and tender. Around it, moths and paper-like fragments orbit in a slow, weightless choreography, as if drawn to a promise of illumination that remains withheld, internalized behind patterned bands and sealed planes. The stark monochrome heightens a mood of nocturnal vigilance—light implied more than shown—suggesting desire circling the boundaries of a carefully constructed inner chamber. In this interplay of precision and drift, the work becomes a meditation on how we build vessels for hope, and how longing finds its way to the edges of what is closed.
