Description
Set within three chromatic orbs—ochre, magenta, and indigo—the slender, wire-like figures perch at the thresholds of stark white apertures, as if seated on the edge between inner refuge and exposed world. The surrounding field of rhythmic green marks vibrates like ambient noise, turning negative space into a living atmosphere that presses against each small “room” of intimacy. By repeating the window as a motif yet shifting the number and closeness of bodies, the work reads as a meditation on degrees of belonging: solitude, coupledom, and communal leanings held in fragile balance. The elongated shadows and dangling legs intensify a sense of suspension, suggesting that connection here is both tender and provisional—always one breath away from distance.
