Description
This work holds its breath in a field of earthen reds and ochres, as if the surface were scorched by time and then patiently rebuilt in layers of abrasion and stain. Two weighty rectangular forms—one bruised with turquoise flickers, the other sinking into near-black—read like opposing chambers of memory, separated by a narrow seam that both divides and sutures. The light is not painted so much as excavated: it seeps from scraped edges and half-erased marks, suggesting presence emerging from erasure. In its restrained geometry and weathered skin, the piece becomes a meditation on containment—how the mind frames experience, and how what is hidden still radiates through the cracks.
