Description
The work stages a metamorphic being—human body, insect wings, and a newborn’s crawl—caught between instinct and awakening, as if consciousness is learning its limbs in a world still forming. A dense lattice of scratch-like marks compresses the left side into psychological noise, while the pale, looping arcs behind the head open a breath of space that reads as both halo and orbit, sanctifying the creature’s fragile emergence. Muted earth tones and sickly greens lend the scene an alchemical patina, and the small butterfly at the margin becomes a quiet counterpoint: not a destination, but a mirror of potential, hovering just beyond reach.
