Description
Arranged like a quiet architectural lexicon, these circular vignettes distill façades, arches, and latticed tilework into emblematic fragments, where cobalt geometry presses against soft grey planes and a burnished gold ground. The strict symmetry of windows and portals is repeatedly interrupted by ornamental arabesque—an insistence that lived culture can never be fully contained by order alone. Light behaves less as illumination than as memory: the metallic halo reads as sun, icon, and relic, making each “house” feel both habitable and devotional. Together, the series becomes a meditation on thresholds—between public and private, pattern and silence, the stability of home and the shimmering impermanence of ornament.
