Description
Rendered in a restrained, earthen monochrome, this diptych treats the divine as both intimacy and spectacle—two presences held in parallel worlds of patterned atmosphere. The left panel feels like a shrine interior, where the figure’s poised limbs and measured symmetry suggest protection and ritual order, while the dense textile-like motifs thicken the air into sanctified space. In the right panel the deity expands outward, arms flung wide and gaze intensified, as ornament becomes vibration—dots, bands, and spirals turning the body into a field of cosmic rhythm. Together they propose divinity as a continuum: from the private architecture of devotion to an overflowing, elemental force that dissolves boundaries between figure, landscape, and symbol.
