Description
The composition reads like an earthen mandala—hands orbiting a central void as if measuring the boundaries of touch, care, and restraint. Rust reds and ochres, edged by pale, chalky contours, evoke pigment drawn from soil, turning the surface into a site of memory where human gesture feels both ancient and immediate. Framed by mirrored, winglike forms at the sides and a banded horizon above, the work suggests a ritual architecture: a guarded chamber in which connection is continually offered, withdrawn, and offered again. Its quiet symmetry holds tension between protection and exposure, implying that intimacy is not a single act but a cycle—repeated, negotiated, and sacred.
