Description
Rendered in spare graphite, the figure folds into itself beneath a leaf-like canopy, while a dark, vine-straight axis cleaves the composition, turning the body into a terrain of shelter and division at once. The feline mask—wide-eyed, almost tender—introduces a liminal identity, suggesting instinct and vulnerability cohabiting the same skin, as if the self must be disguised to be safely seen. Soft shading pools around limbs and ribs, letting emptiness function as breath and silence, so the drawing reads less as portrait than as an interior weather: protection, pressure, and quiet metamorphosis.
