Description
This ink-drawn tableau reads like a mythic triptych: three architectural sanctuaries hold enigmatic figures whose masklike faces and watchful eyes turn the page into a site of quiet surveillance and ritual. The composition is built from crisp geometry—triangles, stepped platforms, and compartmentalized rooms—yet it hums with private symbolism as suns, moons, serpentine forms, and small creatures circulate like talismans between the panels. Sparse color and deliberate line weight create a luminous austerity, allowing the empty white to function as a spiritual atmosphere in which the ordinary and the ceremonial collapse into one another. What emerges is a contemplative allegory of inner chambers—identity staged, guarded, and half-revealed—where each figure seems both occupant and icon within its constructed world.
