Description
Suspended in a pale, quiet field, the fish drift like cut-out memories orbiting a dense black rectangle—an abyssal window where botanical fragments and shadowed currents suggest the archive of an unseen sea. Acid greens and bruised corals punctuate the stillness, their soft glow reading as breath or bubbles, as if life insists on rising even from the darkest register. The central, bulb-like form becomes a fragile vessel—part lantern, part embryo—holding the notion that perception itself is aquatic: fluid, refracted, and always on the verge of dissolving into pattern. In this poised collage of natural history and dream logic, the work stages a meditation on containment and escape, where each creature hovers between specimen and spirit.
