Description
This unsettling hybrid—turtle-bodied yet crowded with human limbs—advances across a barren, cracked terrain, turning the slow certainty of nature into a procession of fragmented identities. The spare palette and insistent linework heighten a sense of dry, exposed vulnerability, as if the world itself has been drained to an etching of survival. Limbs splay in contradictory directions, suggesting progress made through collective burden and internal discord, where mobility is purchased by dismemberment and shared weight. In this paradox of shelter and strain, the shell becomes both home and heap, a meditation on how endurance can deform what it protects.
