Abstract, Mixed-Media Feel, Symbolic Glyphs, Layered Patina, Muted Greens, Red Ground, Memory Palimpsest

Suspended within a bruised, atmospheric field of greens and ochres, the composition is bisected by a rigid vertical axis that reads like a seam—part architectural support, part scar—holding together a space that feels both interior and cosmological. A dark, crescent-like mass presses upward from the bottom, anchoring the work with a gravity that contrasts with the faint, drifting marks: half-erased script, ghosted symbols, and a schematic mask-form that flickers between protection and erasure. The thin veil of layered pigment and abrasion turns light into a kind of memory, suggesting a record of passage where meaning is repeatedly written, smudged, and reassembled. What emerges is an uneasy poise between control and dissolution, as if the painting is negotiating how identity survives inside systems that compartmentalize and mute it.
