Description
This sculptural form stages a quiet dialogue between the raw and the refined: a textured, scarred column rises like memory made tactile, while a polished, blade-like plane cleaves through the volume with poised inevitability. Light skates across the burnished surface in soft, liquid reflections, turning the object into a vessel for shifting atmospheres as the darker patina anchors it in gravity and time. The composition’s tension—vertical endurance against a decisive diagonal incision—suggests transformation as an act of both wounding and revelation, where elegance is forged through rupture rather than ornament.
