Abstract Expressionism, Mixed-Media Texture, Geometric Abstraction, Moody Palette, Chiaroscuro, Liminal Space, Urban Fragments
Description

This composition stages a tense negotiation between weight and aperture: dense blacks and slate greys press inward while a seam of verdant green slices through ochres like a sudden breath in a sealed room. The scraped, weathered surfaces and ghosted circular traces read as palimpsests—records of decisions made, erased, and insisted upon—so that space feels constructed rather than given. Light is not depicted so much as excavated, surfacing in chalky highlights and raw canvas breaks that suggest an architecture of memory where stability is always provisional. In its restrained palette and assertive geometry, the work becomes a meditation on threshold—how we cross from containment into possibility without ever fully leaving the past behind.
