Description
Set against a radiant field of yellow that reads like both sunlight and warning, the painting suspends four turbulent clusters of gesture—charcoal blacks, bruised violets, and flaring reds—like charged matter caught mid-eruption. The vertical drips and scraped passages introduce gravity and time, as if the pigment is simultaneously rising in fervor and dissolving into aftermath, holding action and erosion in the same breath. Each knot of marks becomes a fragment of psyche or crowd—anxious, ecstatic, unresolved—while the open ground between them functions as a volatile silence that amplifies their intensity. In this tension between luminous emptiness and agitated density, the work proposes a meditation on energy: how it gathers, fractures, and insists on being seen.
