This work stages a single, elongated rupture across a field of muted ground, where granular reds, ochres, and chalky whites accrete like sediment pressed into a scar. The horizontal thrust reads as both landscape and incision—an aerial shoreline dissolving into particulate noise—while the small vertical drop punctuates the calm with a sudden, bodily gravity. By offering two tonal climates, the piece turns perception into a hinge: the same formation alternately glows with heat and recedes into ash, suggesting how memory and time re-color the same event without ever fully resolving it.
