Description
This triptych stages the mind as a volatile corridor between intimacy and rupture: two withdrawn figures, heads bowed, bookend a central palm that rises like an offered truth or a plea suspended in silence. A pale field—stained with inky blooms and threaded with diagrammatic tracery—becomes a psychological atmosphere where thought accumulates, leaks, and reorganizes, while the ochre band of line-work reads as a migrating current of memory moving from one consciousness to another. The stark vertical black in the center splits the composition like an ethical or emotional divide, yet the reaching hand insists on contact, turning the work into a meditation on how empathy must traverse distance, noise, and internal weather.
