Description
This ink drawing stages the human figure as a palimpsest—an anatomy assembled from velocity, hesitation, and erasure—where the face briefly coheres before dissolving into a storm of marks. Dense blacks concentrate like emotional gravity along the left edge, while the white ground fractures into restless diagonals that read as both protective scaffolding and psychic noise. The body’s contours are repeatedly revised, suggesting a self negotiated in real time, caught between exposure and concealment.
