Description
Suspended in an expanse of saturated blue, a reclining figure is cradled within a biomorphic shell that reads as both sanctuary and creature, its curling form folding space into a private interior. The cool, aquatic palette and velvety gradients lend the scene a submerged quiet, while the frond-like crown and layered, wave-like ribs suggest breath, memory, and the slow mechanics of protection. By placing the body in a posture of surrender yet surrounding it with barbed elegance, the work stages a tender paradox: intimacy as refuge, and refuge as a living thing that can also hold us captive. The emptiness around the form becomes emotional weather—an open field where isolation turns luminous, and vulnerability becomes the true subject.
