This work stages a charged dialogue between heat and restraint: a dominant field of reds and ochres presses forward like lived intensity, while the fractured blues and greens below introduce a cooler countercurrent of memory and pause. Layered, scraped textures and semi-opaque planes create the sensation of time accumulating—paint behaving as sediment—so that space feels both constructed and eroded in the same breath. The vertical, veil-like forms hover between figure and architecture, suggesting a presence that is sensed rather than seen, as if the painting is mapping an interior landscape where longing, rupture, and renewal coexist.
