A weathered profile emerges from a field of smoky umbers and ash-grey, the face modeled with granular tenderness as if memory itself had been rubbed into the paper. The clasped hands and lowered gaze create a quiet axis of devotion, while paper airplanes drift across the space like fragile messages—childhood hopes launched into the vastness of time. Light grazes the ridges of wrinkles and knuckles, turning age into topography and suggesting that endurance is not loud, but deeply, patiently held. In this suspended atmosphere, the work reads as a meditation on longing and transmission: what we send outward, and what returns inward as contemplation.
