Description
A single violet head presses through a pale, wound-like aperture, as if consciousness were forcing itself out of a dense, churning ether of line and shadow. The composition is built on a stark polarity—an illuminated central void ringed by turbulent black filigree—so that the eye reads both a portal and an incision, a threshold that is equal parts birth and extraction. Smaller, drifting faces and severed organic fragments orbit the scene like residual selves or memories, turning the surrounding darkness into a crowded psychic field rather than empty space. In its obsessive crosshatching and submerged light, the work stages an inward pilgrimage: the unsettling pleasure of emergence, and the cost of becoming visible.
