Description
This work stages a tender, almost devotional encounter between two figures rendered like weathered reliefs, as if excavated from memory rather than painted from life. Around their quiet intimacy, a restless palimpsest of script, diagrams, and oscillating lines presses in—turning the background into an archive of voices and measurements that both contain and threaten to overwrite the human moment. Acid greens and luminous yellows cut through the sepia bodies like electrical current, suggesting desire as a vital force moving across time, while the repeated triangles read as unstable emblems—warnings, blessings, or coordinates for a ritual of closeness. The composition holds a tension between touch and transcription, proposing that love persists not despite history’s noise, but within it, continually re-inscribed.
