Description
The work stages a spectral architecture in which a pale, moonlit dome presses down on clustered houses, as if a whole town has been folded into the contours of a face or mask. Two heavy ochre ovals read like watchful eyes—pools of light that should comfort, yet here feel sealed and inward—while the central, totemic slit anchors the composition with a quiet sense of ritual and vulnerability. Dripping whites and smoky greys erode edges and certainty, turning streets into memories and masonry into breath, so the village becomes less a place than a psyche—an uneasy refuge suspended between shelter and surveillance.
