Abstract Figuration, Mask Form, Mixed-Media Texture, Earthy Red, Ochre Yellow, Memory Palimpsest, Fragmented Identity

A monolithic, mask-like presence occupies the center, its graphite-gray planes layered like sedimentary memory, where a single eye and drifting voids suggest consciousness interrupted by erasure. Against the earthen red ground, the figure feels both excavated and entombed, as if identity has been pressed into the surface and partially worn away by time. The jagged yellow column at left acts as a flare of unstable illumination—part beacon, part fissure—setting up a tension between revelation and concealment. In the quiet collision of warm fields and cool, textured form, the work reads as a meditation on inner architecture: how the self is built, fractured, and continuously reassembled.
