Symbolic Portrait, Vertical Panel, Ritual Iconography, Symmetry, Sacred Eroticism, Warm-Cool Contrast, Ornamental Border
Description

A hieratic, mask-like visage rises within a narrow, icon-panel frame, its symmetrical geometry and cooled palette lending the figure the stillness of a ritual object rather than a portrait. The central axis—part scepter, part spine—binds clasped hands to a horned, altar-like form below, turning the body into a conduit where desire, devotion, and containment circulate as one continuous line. Warm reds and oranges flare against ashen greys and muted greens, suggesting an inner heat held in disciplined restraint, while the ornamental margins read like a protective boundary that both sanctifies and confines the image. The work ultimately feels like a meditation on transcendence achieved through pressure: the sacred not as escape, but as a carefully balanced compression of opposites.
