Description
Suspended between relic and apparition, this corroded figure reads like a body remembered through its absence—an armature of ribs and latticed struts that holds space more than mass. The verdigris skin, mottled with rust and ruptures, turns decay into illumination, letting light pierce the torso as if time itself has perforated the self. Its tapering, canoe-like silhouette suggests both vessel and shroud, a quiet narrative of passage where protection and vulnerability collapse into the same fragile architecture. What remains is a poignant choreography of endurance: a human form rewritten as scaffolding, insisting that identity can persist even when the surface has surrendered.
