This work turns an unassuming façade into a quiet register of lived time, where sunlit ochres and soot-softened greys settle like memory on plaster and brick. The composition is structured by a grid of windows and doors, yet it is animated by small gestures—potted plants, climbing vines, a suspended red kite—that puncture the architecture’s restraint with tenderness and fragile hope. Light falls in angled bands, carving the wall into zones of disclosure and concealment, suggesting that domestic life persists most powerfully at the threshold between public decay and private care. The building becomes less a site than a witness: scarred, patient, and gently insistive about endurance.
