Hansraj 1 Acrylic Animals Painting

A ram’s curled horn crowns a sinuous, almost calligraphic body, where electric blues and sunlit yellows press against each other like competing temperaments—instinct and illumination held in the same breath. The surface is patiently patterned, its mosaic-like texture turning the animal into a living terrain, while looping green tendrils and ember-red flames orchestrate a slow, ritual movement across the field. Space here is not background but current: it circulates through the figure, suggesting a psyche in flux, where vitality, desire, and latent aggression are braided into ornament. The work reads as a modern emblem—part zodiac, part myth—inviting us to consider how identity is constructed from repeated motifs, both inherited and self-fashioned.
