Symbolic Narrative, Folk-Surrealism, Patterned Linework, Earth Tones, Ancestral Faces, Talismanic Sun, Memory Grid

This work reads like a stitched memory-map, where compartments of patterned earth tones hold faces, creatures, vessels, and dwellings as if they were relics safeguarded within a woven wall. The composition’s grid is irregular and organic, turning “windows” into thresholds between inner and outer worlds, while the dense linework—spirals, dots, and rhythmic contours—creates a quiet vibration that suggests ancestral presence rather than literal portraiture. Warm ochres and ember reds dominate, yet the small, radiant disc above functions like a watchful sun or talisman, implying that the entire scene is governed by a cosmology in which everyday life and spiritual observation are inseparable. What emerges is a tender anthropology of belonging: the home as archive, the body as landscape, and the past as a living pattern that continues to breathe through ornament and symbol.
