This work stages a folk narrative as a precarious ascent: a rider, rendered in angular, almost puppet-like planes, pulls the eye upward toward a shrine-like canopy where an orange figure glows as both destination and witness. Broad fields of saturated blue press in like night air, while stark whites carve architectural fragments that feel simultaneously protective and unstable, turning space into a tilted theater of memory. The fierce oranges and reds flare against the cool ground, suggesting devotion and urgency held in tension with the fragility of the journey, as if tradition itself is being carried forward through motion, risk, and longing.
